Over recent years legislation has been a driving force behind the development and application of our products. Our objective with this area is to help our customers understand how legislation may influence product selection at design stage and throughout the life of the buildings in which they are installed.
Please note that the new building regulations were published on the 15 December 2021 and will come into effect from 15 June 2022.
Arrangements are in place for the six month transitional period before the new regulations come into force, which mean that if full plans, initial or building notices for building works are submitted to a local authority before 15 June 2022, then as long as the building work commences by 15 June 2023, work on that individual building is permitted to continue under the previous standards.
Current Building Regulations approved documents:
- Approved Document L (ADL1) - Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 1: Dwellings
- Approved Document L (ADL2) - Conservation of Fuel and Power, Volume 2: Buildings other than Dwellings
- Approved Document F (ADF1) - Ventilation, Volume 1: Dwellings
- Approved Document F (ADF2) - Ventilation, Volume 2: Buildings other than Dwellings
