Positive Input Ventilation (PIV), Loft Ventilation

Positive Input Ventilation is a centralised ventilation system often situated in the loft. It introduces filtered, drier air into the property replacing the stale air from the property. It is a well-proven method of combating condensation and mould in problem properties.

Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is an energy efficient method of pushing out and replacing stale unhealthy air with clean drier air, by gently pressurizing the home and increasing the circulation of air. The result is fresh, tempered air that creates a healthy indoor environment - helping to avoid condensation and mould.

The Problems of an Unhealthy Home

Simple day to day activities contribute to moisture generation and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) build up in the home.

Cooking, cleaning and bathing generate up to 10 litres of moisture per day, with every load of washing drying inside adding an additional 2.5 litres.
VOCs, such as formaldehyde get into the home from things like paint, new furniture and cleaning products posing a serious risk to respiratory health.
Increased insulation creates a seal that keeps moisture and chemicals in, creating a perfect environment for poor indoor air quality (IAQ).

The Solution for a Healthy Home

The PIV unit dilutes, displaces and replaces dirty moisture laden and stale air with fresh filtered air with a lower moisture content improving the IAQ in the home.

Mould and condensation is controlled as moist air is pushed out of the house and replaced by drier air.
Clever software guarantees that the PoziDry Pro™ will provide the correct amount of air into the home at all times.
Optional F7 Filters ensure that the air coming in is cleaned, removing things like pollen and diesel particulates.
