As required, Vent-Axia complies with the CE Marking Directive so customers can be assured that any product purchased complies with all necessary regulations. The vast majority of our products, being electrical, are already CE marked and have been since the Directive came into force in the 1990s.
The Construction Products Regulation came into force on 1st July 2013 replacing the existing Construction Products Directive. This requires some products that were previously un-marked with the CE mark to be marked. These products now have to be tested and a certificate issued to confirm that they comply with all appropriate directives.
A review of our products covered by this new Construction Products Regulation shows that some duct fire-stops, fire dampers and similar now require CE marking. Where required, new stock of these products manufactured after the 1st July 2013 will be marked, tested and a certificate made available.
