Vent-Axia has welcomed BEAMA’s Green Homes Compliance Scheme. Aimed at installers the scheme provides guidance on how to ensure adequate ventilation, when a building’s air tightness is improved through Green Homes Grant energy efficiency measures, such as insulation. The scheme is designed to help installers easily identify products through its Green Homes Compliance Scheme badge for accredited ventilation products.

A raft of new evidence on airborne transmission of COVID-19 has made ventilation indoors a top priority. In July over 200 researchers called for the world to take more precautions against the airborne transmission of COVID-19. WHO then published guidance on 9th July which referred to outbreak reports that suggested “the possibility of aerosol transmission”1 of COVID-19 and since then the weight of research has continued to grow.
