Multivent is a central extract system, designed to offer continuous extract from the wet area within a dwelling.
As with Heat Recovery, Multivent can be mounted in a loft space or kitchen cupboard and connected to the kitchens, bathrooms and/or WC’s via a ducting system. However, unlike heat recovery, Multivent is purely extracting and does not bring air back in. Replacement air is provided via trickle or slot vents. Again, with a velocity of approximately 0.5 of an air change per hour, Multivent maintains good air quality throughout the dwelling.
Multivent can be temporarily boosted to a higher speed during times of cooking and bathing to remove stale moist air more quickly, boost can be achieved by either a 2 position trickle/boost switch or a remote humidity sensor that boost the unit when humidity levels rise.
With the growing concerns over ventilating properties, the Multispeed Multivent offers the option of “Close Control” both in the residential and the commercial sectors. With a DC motor that can be set to ventilate any area up to 450m³, the Multispeed Multivent the most efficient central extract unit in the UK.
The unit has 7 set settings based on typical house sizes offering performances from 155 to 444m³/h, each of the 7 settings has 5 set speeds, giving the option of 35 set speed settings.
Once a house size has been selected the controller that comes complete with the unit can be connected to the system. The controller has 5 buttons to select the 5 different speeds.

The main controller has 5 settings and is connected to the Multivent unit by a 3-core mains cable. The settings are: 1 for when the property is occupied, 1 for when the property is unoccupied, 1 for when only two people are present, 1 for night time setting and 1 for a boost setting.
• Continually keeps the wet rooms (bathrooms,
WC's and Utility Rooms) ventilated.
• Provides and maintains good air throughout
your home.
• Can be "boosted" to work harder when
bathrooms and kitchens are in heavy use.
