Overview
Freshvent 100 is a range of passive ventilators that simply and naturally provide the effective ventilation needed by everyone working and living in an indoor environment. When used with positive pressure ventilation, Freshvent 100 provides an important outlet for air circulating around the house. Stale air is expelled through the unit to the outside without letting in noise and draughts.
This makes Freshvent 100 particularly suited to the ‘tight’ construction of new homes - and provides a stylish alternative to traditional slot/airbrick type ventilators. In addition, Freshvent 100 is ideal for older properties that have been refurbished with double glazing and loft insulation. They require ventilation to combat the problems associated with condensation.
Kitchens, utility rooms, bathrooms and toilets are rooms where conventional domestic extract fans are normally found. The natural ventilation principle of Freshvent 100 is particularly suitable for ‘clean’ living spaces such as bedrooms, lounges and work rooms.
There are four Vent-Axia Freshvent 100 models and an extensive range of accessories available to customise the units to your exact requirements. Both units are easily dismantled allowing quick access to the filter for cleaning or replacement. The high capacity of the filter, results in fewer filter changes. The damper plate is insulated against condensation and noise penetration.

Thermostatically regulated, with the vent size automatically adjusting according to the temperature outside. As the temperature decreases the damper closes, opening again as the temperature rises. The built-in thermostat regulates the size of the damper opening so that it starts to close at 10°C and is completely closed at -5°C.

Class EU7 filter with extremely high separation capacity. Especially recommended to assist with allergies and asthma. Highly effective against traffic fumes, viruses and bacteria. Heat resistant up to 100°C. The filter needs to be changed regularly (dependent on location) to maintain its efficiency.

Class EU3 filter with high capacity to separate dust and pollen to assist with allergies. More compact than a standard filter, it is manufactured from synthetic fibres. Heat resistant up to 100°C. Washing is not required.

| Air Replacement Grille Set - Exterior Grille (Brown) |
Suitable for fitting to doors and panels to allow better internal air circulation and replacement. Consists of a two-piece telescopic set, which fits unobtrusively on either side of the door panel. Minimum fixing thickness 30mm. Plastic.

| Extension Wall Bushing |
On applications where the wall thickness exceeds 360mm an additional wall sleeve is available. For use with non db versions (150mm long).

| Storm shield |
Prevents the ingress of water and eliminates the risk of draughts and cold air surges during high winds, closing entirely during storms. The shield acts as a check valve, and is mounted in the pipe section with acoustic damping. Recommended as a standard fitment for exposed locations, coastal areas and highrise applications. Manufactured from polystyrene and UV resistant silicon. Not suitable for db models.

Acoustic Duct Versions
Acoustically damped pipe fitted around unit to reduce external sources of noise such as traffic. Suitable for bedrooms and other rooms where low noise levels are a priority. Comes complete with Freshvent 100 db and Freshvent 100 Thermo db versions.

The unit should be of 100mm diameter and should be connected to rigid duct through the wall. The unit should be either pullcord operated or thermostatically controlled and should have no electrical connections. The unit should also have an acoustic liner available to reduce noise ingress.
