Lo-Carbon Solo Plus - Centrifugal Extract Fan![]() OverviewThe Lo-Carbon Solo Plus range from Vent-Axia has been specially designed for through the wall and ducted applications, suitable for internal bathrooms, WC’s and other small rooms. Finished in white, the Lo-Carbon Solo Plus can be flush or surface mounted, with a 2-position 100mm circular spigot for rear entry or connecting to a vertical ducting system. The new Lo-Carbon Solo Plus has an adjustable boost speed which is set at installation variable between 57-105m3/h for boost/override operation to meet Building Regulations thus ensuring minimum energy usage and low sound levels. All models have an optional speed for constant trickle ventilation (25m3/h), selectable at installation. Depending on the model, the fan will switch from trickle (if selected) to boost via the pullcord/light switch/humidity sensor/PIR. Four models are available offering features such as, Pullcord, Timer, Humidistat/Timer or PIR versions. All models can be wall; panel or ceiling mounted and can be connected to either circular, rectangular or Vent-Axia’s System 25 flat ducting, which has been specially designed for concealed applications that can benefit from its ultra slim 25mm depth. Cable entry is achieved through a rear entry grommet on the top right hand side of the unit. Enclosure of the electrical components is manufactured from flame retardant grade material. The fan should have a 100mm spigot with integral backdraught shutter capable of changing its orientation to receive rear entry or vertical ducting. The fan should be able to offer constant trickle ventilation boosted by various integral sensors. The fan should be double insulated and meet the Building Regulation (Document F) requirements of 15 litres a second for bathrooms and 6 litres a second for toilets. The electronically controlled DC motor is fitted with long life ball bearings to provide an expected 40,000 hour running life and a Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.). The motor should be insulated to Class III and conform to BS EN 60335-2-80. Operation via pullcord/light switch or integral overrun timer. IPX4 rated. The fan is to be wall mounted using a wall kit 25 41 00 (brown) or 25 41 02 (white) or window mounted using 114 61 685A. [^Top of page] |
