Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon VA100 SELV range features Lo-Carbon long life motors that last 5 times longer than conventional motors whilst delivering up to 87% energy savings.
Shutters
Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon VA100 SELV range have instant shutters using the latest patented Integral Magnetronic Control (IMC)
technology - with no extra power used to operate the shutter.
Installation
The Lo-Carbon VA100 SELV bathroom/toilet 100mm axial range is quick and simple to fit using reversible grommets and easy-wire terminals. Suitable for installation in walls or panels/ceilings at any angle using kits available. The 100mm telescopic wall kit fit walls 225 to 360mm thick and uses no screws on the outside grille.
The range meets the requirements of the current Building Regulations for the ventilation of toilets ie 6 l/s, bathrooms
15 l/s with a 15 minute overrun timer for internal rooms on the LT and XT versions.

Best Practice
Sensors and auto mode controllers save energy by only switching the ventilation units on when needed and when the room is occupied.
To meet IEE Regulations timer models should be isolated using a 3 pole isolator.

The fan performance should meet the Building Regulation (Document F) requirements at 15 litres a second for bathrooms, and 6 l/s for toilets (15 minute timer overrun model for internal WC’s). The motor should be manufactured with self aligning sleeve bearings and be fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.). The motor should be insulated to Class B and designed to operate on SELV 12v/1/50Hz.
