HRX4 (Passive)

Overview
The HRX4 is a passive remote mounting unit providing balanced ventilation with up to 70% heat recovery where there is no immediate access to an external wall.As the HRX4 has no fans, it is ideal for use with in-line fans and compatible accessories.The HRX4 comes with a metal frame.
Performance of HRX4: 280m³/h at 70% temperature efficiency (balanced airflow). Ideal installation above suspended ceiling within commercial applications.
Installation
The HRX4 can only be mounted in a horizontal position and is ideal for installation above a suspended ceiling, in a cupboard or a loft space.
The HRX4 can be fitted directly to a suitable surface via the mounting frame (supplied). Alternatively it can be suspended using a drop rod system (Order Ref:SPROD4). 150mm ducting (either flexible or rigid) is used to connect the unit to both the fans and internal and external terminals. A 22mm connection enables condensate drainage at the base of the unit.

Efficiency: The unit should retain up to 70% of the temperature differential of out going air.
Heat exchanger: Should be of a multi plate cross-flow type constructed out of a polymeric plastic with ultra sonic welded joints.
Fan: As a passive device the unit shall require 2-N° additional remote in-line fans.These should typically be Vent-Axia centrifugal type fan.
Ducting spigots: The unit should have 4-N° 150mm Ø x 50mm spigots.
Filter: Not fitted.
Condensation: The outlet provided should be 22mm Ø located on the lower side of the unit.
Construction: The unit outer case should be a rigid ABS moulding. The external grille should be a cream coloured ABS moulding. The spigot plates should be back vacuum formed PVC.
