Vent-Axia LoWatt fan range features LoWatt long life motors that last 5 times longer than conventional motors whilst delivering up to 80% energy savings. The extended life of LoWatt fans is due to the use of high quality electronically controlled ball-bearing DC motors especially developed for this range. Motors that operate effectively from a single gang DC SELV transformer provided.

Vent-Axia LoWatt fans have instant shutters using the latest patented Integral Magnetic Control (IMC) technology - with no extra power used to operate the shutter. When the fan stops the shutter closes tightly, until the fan operates again.

The LoWatt WC/bathroom 100mm axial range is quick and simple to fit using reversible grommets and easy-wire terminals. Suitable for installtion in walls or panels / ceilings at any angle using kits available. The 100mm telescopic wall kit uses no screws on the outside grille. The wall kit supplied with a telescopic wall sleeve to fit walls 225 to 360mm thick.

The range meets the requirement of the current Building Regulations for the ventilation of WC's ie 6 l/s, bathrooms 15 l/s with a 15 minute overrun timer for internal rooms. Sensors and auto-mode controllers save energy by switching the ventilation units off when the room is not occupied.

The fan case and grille shall be made from ABS plastic and have an axial impeller.

The fan should be double insulated and meet the Building Rgulation (Document F) requirements of 15 liters a second for bathrooms and 6 litres a second for toilets.

The electronically controlled motor is fitted with long life ball bearings to provide an expected 50,000 hour running life and a standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.). The motor should be insulated to Class III and is to conform to BS EN 60335-2-80

Operation via pullcord or integral overrun timer.

The 100mm fan is to be window mounted using a window key kit 25 41 02.

The fan is to be wall mounted using a wall kit 25 41 00 (brown) or 25 41 02 (white).
