Vent-Axia Plinth Heaters are designed for use in kitchens and bedrooms. They fit neatly into most types of fitted furniture, fascias, display units and false walls.
Vent-Axia Plinth Heaters are available with or without a built-in thermostat and have integral controls for ease of installation. The VAPL2TC model has a variable thermostat to allow selection of the room temperature. The thermostat control knob is on the front of the heater and has a temperature range of 5°C and 30°C. There are three colours available to suit your decor; stainless steel, brown or white.
Vent-Axia Plinth Heaters have three temperature settings, 0.8kW, 1.6kW, and combined give an output of 2.4kW, and have a fan only option for air circulation.
When installed in a corner with an adjacent cupboard to the right, a distance of at least 150mm must be maintained between the right hand end of the heater and the front of the adjacent cupboard door.
Vent-Axia Plinth Heaters are supplied with 1.5m of 1.5mm2 3 core cable, terminating on the right hand side of the unit.
Controls
Models TC - Thermostat control knob on the front of the unit. Temperature range 5-30ºC.
All Models
Using the switches on the heater, select the temperature required:
Fan Only: Switch on the ‘Fan Only’ switch
Low Heat: Switch on the ‘Fan Only’ together with the ‘Low Heat’ Switch.
High Heat: Switch on the ‘Fan Only’ together with the ‘Low Heat’ and ‘High Heat’ Switch.
Safety Thermostat
The Heater has a built-in thermal cut-out switch. Should the switch trip-out, the heater must be switched off at the switched spur for approximately 10 minutes, to allow the heater to cool down.
