The Electric Heater Controller is rated at 220-240V 50Hz single phase, designed for wall mounting and use with Vent-Axia single or three phase fans and single stage Duct Air Heaters.

When used with appropriate Vent-Axia sensors, it provides safe thermal and electrical control of fan and duct heater installations. Connections for sensors (ie Thermostats, Airflow witches, Overload Relays, Fans Thermal Protection and Duct Heater Cut-Outs) are provided within the controller.

A three position rotary switch provides ‘Auto’, ‘Off’ and ‘Manual’ settings, as follows:

Auto: The fan and Duct Heater are switched on by control of the Thermostat. When the Thermostat switches the Duct Heater off, the fan continues to run for an adjustable pre-set period.

Off: The fan and Duct Heater are switched off. If the ‘Off’ position is selected while the Duct Heater is On, the fan will continue to run for the same pre-set period referred to under ‘Auto’.

Manual: The Fan is switched on continuously while the Duct Heater is switched On and Off under the control of the thermostat.

The internal Fan Delay Off (Overrun) Timer can be set to give a maximum delay of three minutes.

Fans without Thermal Overload Protection Cut-Out require the Controller to be fitted with a Vent-Axia Overload Relay. An Airflow Switch must be fitted upstream of the Duct Heater. (The overload relay must be ordered separately and selected to suit the full load urrent of the fan).
