Vent-Axia is delighted to have been supplying Mears Group, the UK’s leading social housing repairs and maintenance provider in the UK, with its Lo-Carbon Centra fans for use in Brighton & Hove City Council’s housing stock. During the last two years Vent-Axia’s dMEV (decentralized Mechanical Extract Ventilation) Lo-Carbon Centra fans have been installed in a variety of properties across the city as an energy efficient solution to help keep homes free of damaging condensation.

On Friday 11 January 2013, Vent-Axia, the UK’s leading ventilation company, celebrated the opening of three new production lines at its headquarters in Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex. To honour the occasion Henry Smith MP for Crawley and the Mayor of Crawley, Councillor Keith Blake, officially opened the assembly lines by cutting the ribbon at Vent-Axia’s Made in Britain launch event, followed by guests touring the new facilities.

Two Sussex-based firms, low-carbon ventilation manufacturer Vent-Axia and ventilation contractor Service Vent have teamed up with Berkshire-based ventilation specialist, Manrose Manufacturing, to improve the indoor air quality of the home of Georgina Smith, a five-year old girl from Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, who has a rare heart condition.

Attended by over 350 Industry guests the event was hosted by comedian John Moloney.
