Technology and Innovation
The new Building Regulations documents strongly endorse Vent-Axia’s work in establishing fan-drive efficiency, precise controllability and heat recovery as key characteristics of its product ranges.

Vent-Axia is committed to the innovation of new ventilation technology, with extensive use of LoWatt DC motors, which according to their usage, as much as halve electrical power consumption - as well as making new strides in Demand Ventilation' with the new generation of highly efficient EC/DC technology with closed loop control, giving ventilation when and only when) it is required. Besides saving energy, these EC/DC units facilitate remote electronic control, greatly simplifying operational management and integration with full building energy management systems.

Intelligent Control
Intelligent electronic controls are becoming the established norm for minimising ventilation extraction rates, whilst ensuring high indoor air quality, with sensors continuously monitoring air pollutant levels and automatically switching fans 'on' and 'off', only when necessary, to maintain the right atmosphere.

Up to 50% of UK energy consumption is related to space heating, and therefore, heat recovery systems are coming to the fore and as an example, Vent-Axia’s Air Handling Units (including heat recovery) can save as much as 80% of the indoor warmth that would otherwise be lost through essential ventilation.
